Task Restrictions allow Hyperscience admins to limit which users can perform tasks on a given page, based on the layout to which a page was matched.
Defining Task Restrictions
Follow the steps below to define Task Restrictions:
- Navigate to Users > Task Restrictions.
- Click the Add Task Restriction button in the upper right.
- In the modal that appears, provide a name for the restriction and click Next.
- On the next page, define the permission groups eligible to complete Supervision and QA tasks (related to submissions or the individual pages where a restriction applies).
- View the Available Permission Groups list on the left side and click the checkbox next to the desired groups.
- Click Add + to move the checked groups to the Added Permission Groups list on the right side.
- Optionally, if you only want to apply the restriction to pages that match specific layouts (rather than all of the Supervision tasks for a given submission), define the layouts where the restriction should apply.
- Expand the optional area to select layouts for restricted access.
- Scroll through the Available Layouts list on the left side and click the checkbox next to the desired layouts.
- Click Add + to move the checked layouts to the Added Layouts list on the right side.
- Click Save to create the restriction rule.
