Human Handling Time

Having metrics showing the productivity of your keyers is crucial for determining the value that you get by using our product. The Human Handling Time report displays the time it takes to process a unit of production (submission or a document), broken out at a task type over a certain time period.

You can find the Human Handling Time report on the Reporting Overview page (Reporting > Overview).

Human Handling Chart

The Human Handling chart shows the average human handling time per unit of production (submission or a document) over a specific date range.

You can see the average active time a human spends on a particular task for a specific time period. Here’s a list of all tasks displayed in the chart:

• Document Classification
• Field Identification
• Table Identification
• Field Transcription
• Table Transcription
• Flexible Extraction
• Custom supervision

Download the Human Handling Report

Clicking the Download CSV button allows you to:

• Download a CSV file with aggregate information for the waiting and the active time per task within the selected timeframe.

The waiting time can be seen in the Processing time tab > Manual and Machine working time reports.

Filtering Options

• Date Range - by default you can review the metrics for the past 7 days but if needed you can select a specific date range.
• Submission/Document - choose what type of calculations you need - based on submissions or based on documents.
• Flow - choose the flow that you’re using for your layouts to see the metrics needed.
• Layout Variation - choose your layout from the drop-down menu and see specific metrics.

Metrics

In this section, you’ll learn more about the metrics in the Human Handling report.

All metrics included are aggregated on a Submission completion date and are split by the total number of units (submissions or documents). The Active time is based on the tasks generated from the submission. It displays how much time you spend on this specific task. The Waiting time is not included in the chart but you can see it in the CSV file. It is calculated from the task’s creation till the time someone starts it. If you see a high waiting time, then you should consider adding more keyers.

Report metrics

• Period Start - shows information based on the selected date range. The default value is past 7 days.
• Page Sorting - Waiting - Sums the time spent since a Classification supervision task was created until it was started.
• Page Sorting - Active - Sums the time spent on all Classification supervision tasks for the related submissions.
• Field Identification - Waiting - Sums the time spent since an ID Supervision task was created until the Field ID part of the task was started for the related submissions.
• Field Identification - Active - Sums the time spent performing Field ID on all identification supervision tasks for the related submissions.
• Table Identification - Waiting - Sums the time spent since an ID Supervision task was created until the Table ID part of the task was started for all ID Supervision tasks for the related submissions.
• Table Identification - Active - Sums the time spent since an Identification supervision task was created until the table identification part of the task was started for all identification SV tasks for the related submissions.
• Field Transcription - Waiting - Sums the time spent since a table transcription supervision task was created until it was started for all table transcription Supervision tasks for the related submissions.
• Field Transcription - Active - Sums the time spent on all field transcription supervision tasks for the related submissions.
• Table Transcription - Waiting - Sums the time spent since a table transcription supervision task was created until it was started for all table transcription supervision tasks for the related submissions.
• Table Transcription - Active - Sums the time spent on all table transcription supervision tasks for the related submissions.
• Flexible Extraction - Waiting - Sums the time spent since a flexible extraction supervision task was created until it was started for all flexible extraction supervision tasks for the related submissions.
• Flexible Extraction - Active - Sums the time spent on all flexible extraction supervision tasks for the related submissions.
• Custom Supervision - Waiting - Sums the time spent since a custom supervision task was created until it was started for all custom supervision tasks for the related submissions.
• Custom Supervision - Active - Sums the time spent on all custom supervision tasks for the related submissions and splits by the total number of units (submission or document).
