# Supervision & QA Introduction

All tasks in Hyperscience that require human input are called Supervision tasks. Within Supervision, there are two categories – Supervision and Quality Assurance (QA) tasks.

## Supervision Tasks  
A submission will travel through multiple steps during the Supervision process.

## Completing Supervision Tasks  
There are six ways to identify and complete available Supervision tasks:
- In Tasks
  - The Perform Tasks tab
  - The Task Queue tab
- In Submissions
  - The Submissions table
  - The Submissions Output page
  - The Documents table

## Pre-Fetching Supervision Tasks  
When you enter a Supervision task from Tasks > Perform Tasks, Hyperscience automatically assigns you 10 tasks and pre-loads those images in order to reduce browser latency. New tasks are pre-fetched only when there are fewer than five tasks in your queue.
