# Supervision & QA Introduction

All tasks in Hyperscience that require human input are called Supervision or Quality Assurance. A submission will travel through multiple steps during the data-extraction process. At each step, if the machine's confidence falls below a certain threshold, it will require human intervention to ensure accuracy.

## Completing Supervision Tasks

There are six ways to identify and complete available Supervision tasks:
- In Tasks: The Perform Tasks tab
- The Task Queue tab

- In Submissions: The Submissions table
- The Submissions Output page
- The Documents table
- The Document Output page

## Pre-Fetching Supervision Tasks

When you enter a Supervision task from Tasks > Perform Tasks, Hyperscience automatically assigns you 10 tasks and pre-loads those images in order to reduce browser latency. New tasks are pre-fetched only when there are fewer than five tasks already assigned.
