Detecting Slow Flow Runs

The Hyperscience Platform provides built-in capabilities to detect flow runs (or submissions) that take longer than expected. These regular checks ensure that potential delays are flagged in real-time through application logs and OpenTelemetry metrics.

Application Monitoring

Monitoring your Hyperscience Platform effectively is critical for identifying and addressing issues promptly. This article provides instructions for monitoring the system, focusing on resource utilization, job failures, and workflow processing.

System & Health Page

Hyperscience v30 and later: This article describes a feature available in v30 and later. The System & Health page ( Administration > System & Health ) offers visibility into the current state of your infrastructure's components.

OpenTelemetry

This feature is available in v37 and later. OpenTelemetry allows you to monitor the usage and health of your Hyperscience instance alongside that of other applications in your IT infrastructure. The data stream includes metrics for submission volume and performance.

Memory Management

Memory Management is being removed in v43.2. This feature will not be available in v43.2 and later. If you have a custom machine-assignment configuration, you will need to disable it before upgrading to one of these versions.

Audit Log (v39.1 and later)

The Audit Log documents user activities, including adjustments to settings and downloading specific files. It tracks who performed each action and when, providing System Admins with a comprehensive overview of important tasks, completed within the system.

Audit Log (v37 - v39)

The Audit Log records user actions taken in the Hyperscience application, such as settings changes and specific file downloads, along with which user took each action and when. This information allows System Admins to view a detailed record of key tasks.
